Wow, I would be surprised if you got him. A real quality CM and had clear potential when we had him on loan

Can't see it happening but would be brilliant if it does.

We arent in for him. Some "agent" on twitter said we are

He also said we have had a 1.2M bid accepted for Conor Sammon <laugh>

Just some joker. Bannan is off Swansea by the sounds of things

No one's going on loan anywhere for a while I don't think. If permanent I could understand, though not really because I don't think we'd be able to get him. I'm surprised he's still only 23, seems to have been kicking around for ages. Didn't he go to Derby a few years back?

Talking of Villa players...I see they have released Richard Dunne. Do you think he would drop down to the Championship. Would be a good partner for big Wes. Prob go to a lower Prem Team.

What's Wes like for pace? Dunne isn't really quick, so would that pairing leave you a bit exposed to balls over the top/in behind for nippy little strikers to run onto?

Wes is deceptively quick (and strong) for such a big guy ... it would work as a partnership - plus De Laet is arguably the quickest full back in the division (if not the best defensive)

Do you think they'll link up well with Lonergan when you go back to your feeder club to replace Schmeichel?

He played regularly for Villa ... how do people put 2 and 2 together and work out that he would be interested swapping Premiership football for Championship football.

    Bannan or Dunne?

Rumours (and that's probably all they are) are that Bannan may have been told that it is likely that he will be sent out on loan next season - Dunne on the other hand has actually been told to find a new club - 1 of 3 I understand.

Bannan, after playing 24 games last season, i can't see him going out on loan. If hes likely to be loaned, we could probably get Darren Bent on loan as well.

Bent's also been told to find a new club .... now 4th choice behind Benteke, Weimann and Agbonlahor ..

Wouldn't surprise me if he ended up at Hull before the start of the season.

If I was Hull i would push the boat out for him. He is guaranteed goals, he will just cost alot in fees and wages

Bruce can't stand Bent, we're not likely to be interested.

    No chance we'll get Bent.

    70k a week for a start.

Plus i'm surprised a bigger club (maybe a return to Spurs) havn't been interested.

Villa want him out so you're unlikely to find a better striker at the fee they'll ask for.

Like Proud says, he's guaranteed goals.
