Looks like Barrow will be on loan at Forest by the end of the week. Could be a good move for us to give him first team experience in a good Championship or do people think we should have kept him here. http://www.nottinghampost.com/Notti...inger-Moudou/story-26149494-detail/story.html
The trouble is I don't think any of our loanees have come back and made it into the first team and I think it is only a small percentage from other clubs that have made it back to their parent clubs either.
Well I thought this was a stupid move considering the poor season both Routledge and Dyer are having, and given that Monty is fresh from injury, I cannot understand it, unless Barrow was insisting on playing some football somewhere, in which case is fair enough...............
Good move for him. The boy has the talent but is lacking the experience. Forest are a huge club and he'll get some vital experience and more I pitta toy, game time there.
Your right Nos but I think da managent see this as a necessary evil for his development to continue. To be a team/bench fixture next season, imo, he only needs to get games in his legs as he's got everything else. Playing for a great club like Forest will give him the valuable experience he's lacking and imo will help him push for the bench or even the first 11 next year. Hope it comes off for him and he gets his game time.
He needs game time and is still raw so a run in a very competitive Championship is a very good move imo , that's only if Monk has figured he won't get the required time on the pitch with us . Forest are doing reasonably well and still in with a chance of a play off place so we may see more of him there than if he had to play at best regularly for the U21's or be a bench warmer in the squad with us .
An iPad that creates random anagrams. Get rid. That aside, yes, probably a good move for Barrow up to the end the season. We don't do wingers any more anyway....
It's great that Monk is sending these lads out on loan, he has a number of youngsters gaining league football experience to date that can only benefit them when they come back to us and will be that little bit closer to play first team football for us in the future if they show promise. Not all will make the grade so here is their chance to be involved in a first team situation and show what they can do....
It will work but only if he gets game time. He might as well sit on the bench here as sit on the bench up there.
"Barrow out on loan". I hope Monk got a receipt. I loaned my barrow out to a neighbour, and that's the last I saw of it.
Why Musty ?, if he's not going to get game time from now until the end of the season then imo a good move for him , The Championship is a good competitive league and a few present PL players benefited from being loaned out , one example Harry Kane
Its an excellent loan for the lad, Forest are a massive club that have under achieved their full potential over the last decade and more...
