Pink'un just reported on twitter that Barney has been recalled from Cardiff! Must mean bad news for R. Bennett!

Think Anthea is out for some time. Since Cardiff are Champions they have no need of Barney so better he is back with us as cover in case of further injuries. Thought Bennett played well against Reading - would be harsh to replace him after that performance.

Bennett has been a naughty boy though, maybe they are contemplating a ban situation for him for his remarks on twitter now the FA are involved.

It's a wise move if Tina is going to be out until the summer, were getting a little thin at the back if we lose another one.

Shame Barney won't get to hold the trophy on saturday, he seems to be very popular over there and I imagine we might sell if we get a new CB

I'm sure Mcnally has or is dealing with it, but the FA are involved it is not just an internal matter anymore.

Going slightly off thread Ward has beomce an integral part of the Forest team pushing for promotion. Hope they take him on next season as he deserves first team football. However Ayala doern't seem to feature in their squad - is he injured?

fair enough, i didn't appreciate that. given they are rulling on suarez today, it could be in the same meeting that they rule on barnett.

Usually it is just a fine from the FA for bringing the game in to disrepute on a media network site like twitter, but i dont know what he said as he usually quite vocal on there anyway as i used to follow him. But nothing i have seen would beem the FA sanctioning a ban.

Norwich defender Ryan Bennett is charged by the Football Association with misconduct following comments he made on Twitter.

With Anthea and Whittaker both crocked we are short of cover - getting Barny back for the vital run-in is sensible and appropriate.

No-one has been banned for this type of thing before.

Are the club going to ban a centre back at this point in the season? Nope.

About time footballers were banned from using Twitter I would suggest, so many of them seem to have "foot in mouth" disease when using it.

The whole Social Media thing is throwing up some oddities.I thought the chap being prosecuted for a joke about blowing up the airport was a farce. The authorities need to get some common sense and a GSOH.Similarly nutters who post insults about people who have pegged,it's in bad taste agreed but just don't read them is the answer.Maybe I am thick skinned but I can't get worked up enough to take umbrage over a nutter.

i heard on the news yesterday someone tweeted, from a fake account supposed to be Associated press, that a bomb had gone off in the white house. the stock market dipped, and it took 4 mins to work out it was fake. in those 4 mins someone clearly made a shed load of money on the stock market.

not quite - it WAS the Associated Press account hacked by the Syrian Electronic Army - they've recently hit a lot of accounts including Sepp Blatter, World Cup, and BBC Weather!

The stock market thing was absolutely mental though, supposedly around $1.3bn was lost in that time!

Meanwhile it's all very harsh on Barnett who now doesn't get to hold the trophy. Lots of people were upset he wouldn't get his medal but thinking about it he's only played about 8 times so I doubt he would have had one anyway
