Wow what a week has passed. Shrewsbury lose/sell a few players and we win a cup game. Harry Lewis transfers to Southampton, Martin Woods returns to his previous club, Ryan Woods to Brentford and Mickey Demetriou out in loan to Cambridge. Larnell Cole joined until January on loan from Fulham. Oh and we missed out on two players that we had bids accepted for.

We will obviously miss Ryan Woods but tuesday showed that we can cope with other players filling the gap that was left. Cole must have not made it to Shropshire until midweek as there were no photos of him until today I'm sure. Reports said that he joined in training on Thursday and is in contention for a place on Saturday.

We are likely to play either the basic 442 or a variation on 352/532. Perhaps even the 4321 famed by Jim Gannon! I'm sure MM will let us know at some point when the team sheet gets released. What are your thoughts on the possible formation?

Injury wise we're looking pretty good. NKP and Weso are both ready for first team games and happily played 3/4 of the cup game midweek.

Barnsley are without loanee striker Conor Wilkinson but signed an old nemesis in Simeon Jackson as a striker this week.

Stick any thoughts and match reports below. Let's hope for a win. Floreat Salopia.

Match preview: unfortunately Sky were the only ones to bother at the time of postin!

A very good result away from home. Town are now up into 18th position which will take some pressure off of thesquad from the fans.

I was in the car so managed to hear part of it on the radio. Clark sounded great and would've been up for man of the match before getting a winning goal. Worryingly Weso went off after 15mins andhas possibly hurt his knee.

Did anyone go to the match or hear the full game?

Fortunate to go in level at half time. Barnsley hit the woodwork twice and the defence looked ragged. Second half much more combative and could have won it earlier with Akpa Akpro giving the keeper a comfortable save with a header with which he should have done better. There were other half chances. Lawrence was outstanding and Clark certainly adds something different. Worryingly Barnsley brought on a winger late on who left Tootle with twisted blood.

Clark looks to have headed the ball past the keeper. Two goals for him then!
