Barnsley Allocation

Anybody know how many we have? heard something about 6000 but not sure if true

 

I think thats the capacity of the stand so the potential max , we will only have an initial allocation of less than that , if they are on general sale on monday expect queues

 

If the need is there, clubs are also allocated the west stand down the side (the one that looks like it will fall down any minute)

 

This will be mental I can't wait. 6000 City fans will make some serious noise. Phil Buckingham reporting at least 3,500 sold already.

 

Phil Buckingham says initial allocation was just over 5,000! Sold 3,500 so far!

 

Let's hope they make more noise them the 18,000 have done at home matches.

Allocation 5k with 3.5k already sold before tickets go on general sale monday morning.

Is there any reason this can't be Pay on the Day. Barnsley can hold up to around 8000 with the west stand. I expect the police will have some say but there won't be any trouble it's not that sort of game, this could be like that night in Hillsborough all over again.

No wonder Dortmund beat Malaga...We need to get the away stand at Barnsley rocking from start to finish like this

 

I think at home matches most of the fans expect the players to entertain them whereas at away matches the fans expect to support the team.

 

SYP have limited us to 1500 and we must all travel in Black marias (sp)

 

We actually had a 5,500 allocation, so I reckon the remaining 2,000 will be gone by Tuesday.

Working tomorrow so have drafted my Mum in. Told her to have been to the loo and have a drink with her cause she's not allowed to move from 9am until she's got through and got tickets!

Whatever happens on Friday, us being 5000 strong at Oakwell will be fantastic.

 

We've been given 5,500 in a stand that holds just over 6,000?

Really? So is that 500+ spaces in the stand occupancy reserved for stewards and police, despite being in a stand that only has our fans in it?

 

You really never know, it could be anything, such as fire regs, unsafe areas of the stand or the first few rows not for sale.

It's only 500 seats, if we have another 500 people willing to go maybe Barnsley will let us in that crappy stand to the right of the away end. Their not in a position to turn down a further £10,000.
