This time claiming "the UK had “failed to engage substantially” in trade talks for a deal when the transitional agreement ends on 31st December."

I interpret that as meaning that the UK aren't prepared to cave in to an EU wish list.

It seems that we are now adopting the "Non! Non! Non! approach of his idol!

He better get used to it because I think that it's unlikely to change.

Indeed, long may it continue!

My instinct was to remain when the vote was held, but now that we are out we should go out on our terms. After this Covid crisis I am now delighted that we are out. The EU will be bailing out the likes of Italy, France and Spain for years. I'm sure the likes of the Germans, Dutch, Danish etc will be looking at the UK and thinking....wish it was us.
