for three months and on his way back to Posh. The good news is we didn't buy him. Lucky manager at last?
We have him for a couple of weeks knacker him and send him back... It seems the loan system does have some perks for us.... If only we had loaned Ulrich le Pen!! Doh It's a shame, as his presence in the squad could be the reason for Murph's upturn in form as there was real competition for places and a lot of different options, but I'm sure that MM will have many more irons in the fire to bring in permanently in January so the next few weeks we will make do and maybe even allow for the likes of Chopper, Scotland, Murray (and Mohsni?) to get a bit closer to the team if we need them.
Big shame IMO. Although he hasn't overly impressed so far, I think he's the kind of player upfront we've needed for a long time. Murphy has been decent of late (well 1 game) upfront, so I hope he can carry this mantle on. Also I think MM is trying to play JET upfront which IMO is his best position or maybe just behind the striker but central. Although saying this JET is never going to be the man to really bust a gut to get on the end of crosses or hold the line.
Bloody hell JWM are you now the positive brigade?? He's been decent enough for the 3 games he's played but he hasn't exactly stood out!! Which is why i said hasn't "overly" impressed not hasn't impressed!! JWM you are infuriating!!!
PTC!! remember JWM is the representative for both MM and Barnett in all honesty, he hasn't had all that much game time and has looked decent if not exceptional.. particularly when you look at how Murphy changed the game against Forest and put in his best display in a town shirt against Wall. Barnett will be missed but not too much.. I fancy we will have better players playing for us than him this time next year
