There are quite a few hqandy players at Rangers looking for a new home.

I particularly noticed Mervan Celik - Celik is a Sweden Under-21 international attacking midfielder and moved to Ibrox from GAIS in Gothenburg on a three-and-a-half year deal in January.

Does anyone else think that we could do a bit of good business here - or indeed at Portsmouth?

Nope to both. The best ones have gone. A so called City fan @ Blackpool thought it would be a good idea to go in for Cousin. He could surely not have seen him when he was last here. When is Darius Hendersons court date ? If he stays out of jail thats the only player i can see who would improve us at this moment in time.

Rangers have some decent players, but the ones that we would want would probably cost us more than we would be prepared to pay.

Can we get players from Scotland on emergency loan, I thought it was English players only?

I'd bring Kyle Lafferty in I think, looked a good player at Burnley and is 6 foot 4 which would give us a different option going forward.

If we sign Ben Haim then that would settle the Jewish debate I had on here a few months back, would be the first Jewish player to play for us

Kitson's been poor since he left Reading 3 1/2 years ago and Ben Haim's about as good as Sonko.

The fact that they're both apparently on £30k a week is simply bizarre.

That said, if we paid less than half his wages, I'd still have Kitson(but I'd rather have Varney).

Bringing in a striker who's scored 5 in 17 so far this season and can play wide, suiting our current formation would obviously be a really daft idea. Silly me.

It is just English competition based players.

Those players that have just walked away from Rangers without a payoff might be in for a shock in the coming weeks when they find they can't sign for anyone though.

All of those would improve our side, it would probably be worth having a go for Lafferty. I've always said Naismith is a quality player and would love to see him here, but not sure if he would hold out for a Premier League team.

Don't know what you mean about Varney. Impressed me when I've seen him play and would be a decent acquisition for us and give us something different up front, and by christ do we need that.

We don't need any player that can score goals, we are fine as we are and all the teams above us are going to hit bad form so our nil-nils will fire us up the league in no time
