    On July 4, 2007, Times Newspapers ranked Balaban as one of their 50 worst footballers love that part so sounds about right. Read Becchio is hoping to return against Palace, why with so little time we are looking or reported to be at strikers is a mystery

    1550: DEADLINE DAY HEADLINES SO FAR...
    Scott Parker has moved from West Ham to Spurs for £5m.
    Liverpool's Joe Cole completed a loan move to Lille, despite late links with Aston Villa.
    And Christian Poulson has also left Anfield for France, joining Evian.
    Germany defender Per Mertesacker is close to joining Arsenal, but Brazilian left-back Andre Santos has joined the Gunners for £6.2m.
    Owen Hargreaves is expected to complete his move to Man City this evening.
    Defender Scott Dann is having a medical at Blackburn but a fee has yet to be agreed.
    Everton striker Yakubu looks set for Blackburn too.
    QPR have agreed a fee for Sunderland defender Anton Ferdinand, and Neil Warnock has also been linked with moves for Craig Bellamy and Shaun Wright-Phillips.
    Stoke have agreed a fee with Birmingham for Cameron Jerome.
    And, finally for now, It looks like Carlos Tevez and Luka Modric will be staying at Man City and Tottenham respectively.

    If its true that Brighton have signed left winger Vicente from Valencia. Then that would be it! Free transfer aswell. That lad will rip the championship to pieces with his pace!

    True, and that's what scaring me. It seems to follow a trend for other signings. At 32 he's _obviously_ at the peak of his career and we needn't worry about his spell at Villa if this is all true...

    LIW hasn&#8217;t pissed me off too much over past couple of days so I&#8217;m feeling pretty calm <laugh>

    I cant watch the tv so just keeping an eye on the BBC thing and on here whilst at work.
