IMO, after today this is the only position that could be changed, every other player deserves to stay in the starting 11..

So my question to you is, keep Richardson or play Bardsley.

IMO I would keep Richardson in as he seems to be getting better as time goes on at LB. He is looking more comfortable, and has that attacking instinct, which Bardsley does lack.

I am being turned round into believing that possibly Richardson maybe able to play LB.

P.S Bring Catts and Bardsley on about 5 mins to the end to snap Bent..screw the snapping, rip his f**king leg off..

Richardson does not deserve to be dropped and Bardo will have to fight for his place.

What happened to ricco today? Was it just a leg strain, hamstring or what? Has looked quite lively last 3 games or so.

watched the game online and Richardson put in another good display especially in the second half

they are loving him over on the smb... http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=638412

For me best left back at the club and offers balance to the side, keep him there I say as he is improving with everygame

Not ricos biggest fan, but I thought he was superb today (apart from when he ran the ball out the 1st half!)

We are getting dangerously close to admitting SB is right re; ricco at left back.
Has done a reasonable job recently, however, I would prefer a recognized left back, utilizing ricco as a squad player on the left wing or behind the front two similar to sess's role.

He was quality today, He has to play for me as we don't have another natual left footer. I would bring Bardo in at RB and maybe bring OShea into the middle. Competition for places, its a good sign, Richardson knew he had 4 games to make the position his own and for me he has done that.

Today we had balance and in the 2nd half the players started to gel, don't change a winning side, the great news is we have quality to come on if we need it.

Ricco has been CRAP for 2 seasons...now all of a sudden we win a game he's the bees knees! Bardsley was our player of the season last season at LB so he's my pick like...

Richardson played well? Did I watch another game today? He was our main weak point all game. A bought left back or Bardsley os by far and away the best option. He is a very poor full back defensively as his natural instinct is to get forward and this left huge holes down the left time after time.

Richardson is a central or wide left midfielder only in my opinion.

I just think you have it out for Richardson, and also for Bruce. Maybe he isn't the best LB, but he is doing great and had a good game today, so dunno what match you were watching

    Bardo is my choice.

I've agreed many times that Rico is not a LB, but he had a good game yesterday, and has played ok whenever I've seen him this season. Definitely seems to be improving there.

Maybe thats why Bruce persists with Larsson at LM - because he knows Larsson gives Rico more cover when Rico gets forward than, for example, Sess would?

I love Bardo though and need him in the team. For me, next game, Bardo - O'Shea - Brown - Rico. Turner still needs work- he made a few challenges against Arsenal and another yesterday that succeed only in wiping out Wes Brown.

Rico as you expect is good going forward. Bolton were hopeless so Rico defensive foibles were not highlighted. Simples
