Was Bardsley even worse than normal agaianst Chelsea or was it just me? He has a good attitude but by God he is s****. I've seen people saying their goal was lucky. Ha! No, the dipstick decided to leave Torres free 8 yards out and go and mark the same player already marked by O'Shea. He simply doesn't have a brain. He defends like a bull in a china shop. How many times was he skinned today or did he hoof it straight to Chelsea. He is going to give me a coronary. I will argue for hours and hours with anyone that claims he isn't a massively weak link. And then we will both agree that I'm right. On a positive note, we only look a couple of players away from being a pretty tidy outfit. Thoughts? I agree personally for us to move forward we need two new full backs, who have pace and can bomb forward and a forward and we are sorted
He was the one at fault for the goal, even before the cross came in I thought "he needs to get closer to Torres". The rest was average, I have seen him have good and bad games but I think he is still our best full back.
Not saying much we dont have a left back and the only other player in the setup we have who's primary position is full back is Angeleri and we have only seen him play for 10minutes in 18months

Coming from Ricco's lover, Id expect nowt else. Whose view is it then you pleb? The bloke makes one mistake & he's hounded? Poolie, look mate, you obviously have **** fests over Ricco but tbh with you Bardsley is one of the most committed players I've seen in a SAFC shirt for years. Not the most gifted, sure but for sheer committment you can't fault the lad, he puts his heart & soul into the game & that's all that can be asked of him in my opinion.
haha I dunno were this obsession that I have with Richardson has came from, I think he is decent and our best left back but thats pretty much because all the other players who can play that spot are average players. As for Bardo I agree with you about his commitment but at the end of the day if we want to move forward he will get moved on, in the modern game full backs need to do more than just be able to tackle, as for Richardson he will probably stay as a squad player.
I think Bardo is a much better LB than RB. I would play him at LB, McClean LW, and use Ricco as cover for both positions....simples
Spot on Billy. If Ricco put in half the effort Bardsley does every game, I wouldn't give him so much stick! Why the hell are we discussing what someone said on another forum? We have enough here don't rate Bardsley we can argue with.
Bardsley's commitment and attitude is second to none,and he would be one of the first names on the teamsheet,for me.You can count on one hand how many mistakes he has made this season.If all our players had the same attitude as Bardsley,we would be further up the league!
Have 5 from me kidda. I'd take 11 lads with Phils attitude over 11 couldn't give a **** fancy Dans anyday. Why don't people **** off slagging him off. It's really getting on my tits now.
