Has anyone heard news about the Manager of the Month for December? With Stoke's current good form I would have thought TP was in with a chance. I have not heard anything and we are in the 2nd week of Jan. Have I missed the anouncement?
Thanks for that info Potts. OK the Mackems have certainly done well since MON took over but overall for December Stoke's form was better than Sunderland's. I always feel with awards like this the top teams and certain high profile managers eg; 'Arry, Sir Alex, Roberto, Whinger tend to win them. Has TP ever won it?
TP has never won the award whilst we've been in the Prem. I'd be surprised if he ever did to be honest.
IMO Best not to win it... usually it put's the mockers on form/results ect. Given our Europa games I think Tony deserved it. But hey, who really cares? I don't.
Agreed Potts, I am not that bothered and it does usually backfire wrt results but if deserved then perhaps he should have won it but there you go.
