ALWAYS looking for a way to sneakily increase how much you pay Barclay card are now attaching card interest to bank base rate which has been kept at its present for months in fact a few years ... so they start off at zero and know the amount can only go up every month or so during the next few years... how many more will jump on the band wagon? a .25% increase = about 21p a month per £1000 owed or £2. 50 a year or £20 when it reaches 2%
The banks, who fooled us all into believing that they knew what they were doing with other peoples money before the financial crisis erupted have staggeringly short memories and no shame. Highway robbers the lot of them !!
You really have to wave the flag for Tesco and Sainsbury Credit cards almost 10% per annum cheaper than a lot of the others, I buy fuel and groceries with mine and reap the rewards..must admit Sainsbury rewards just edge Tesco 's though, as Tesco have a time limit although their boost programme helps if you need a specific item...
