I think the better question is, would Chelsea and Cech had more chance of winning any silverware had he not moved? Now that Calamity Courtois is proving to be a bit of a liability, a mess, an overrated one-season wonder in a foreign league... perhaps it was Jose sticking two fingers up as a parting gift to the chavs, by selling Cech to the gooners and killing 3 birds with 1 stone?
The wise amongst us called Calamity Courtois a while back. It seemed so obvious. As for Sanchez, I think he's superb. I'd definitely pick him ahead of Suarez.
Sanchez is a very good player. Suarez, 'orrible **** that he is, is a great player. And there lies the difference, IMO.
Out of interest. If Barca are so good why do they need 3 attackers to score goals, Other teams can do it with 1 or 2
I will use this ****ty wum thread, to heap praise on Suarez, who I think has shown in the last few years why he might go down as possibly the best and most complete CF in the last decade or so, the guy as well as being able to produce moments of pure magic in terms of individual skill, is the complete team player, his ability to run in behind defences combined with his world class link up play has basically transformed a fading Barca post Xavi into an almost unbeatable force.
Suarez takes **** to a new level. Surely the only player in history to be banned three times for biting an opponent?
