Well a good start against Cardiff by Manager Monk , it was a good way to get his feet wet . Now we have 5 games in 16 days , 2 Premier League games against Stoke and Liverpool , a home and away against Napoli in Europa and a FA Cup game against Everton (god forbid if we have a replay ).
He will have his hands full , are there certain players that Garry should be earmarking for certain competitions for various reasons , injuries , expierence on the mainland and other intangibles . Maybe Britton for domestic games and Canas for Europa . Should Michu be thrown right into the fray or brought along slowly , to insure a healthy finish for him to games after these 5 so a new Premier League can be realised . Maybe Davies for domestic and Taylor for Europa. I think Davies will struggle against Napoli.
Like I say , Monk will be thrown into the deep end these next 16 days , he'll be a seasoned pro after these 5 games but good luck to him in his baptism by fire , I hope he can hold his nerve , cheers

This is a challenging stretch of games for any team, squad or manager. Everybody will need to be at their best. If so, there is nothing we cannot accomplish. Injuries and player availability will be the key. I am sure that Monk will do everything he can to prepare the team to the best of his ability.
