i have contacted the charlton and notts county boards on here to see if we can get some banter going for next season,hopefully they will turn out as friendly as the shrews and the gills are

lol thanks, seems quite busy, i think the boards are representative of attendances in this division, colchester = empty with a smattering of t*****, mk dons = empty. thanks Ron, haha if you saw us last season, you would be surprised we are not swapping places with you!
Hi Charlton fans, what are the supporters' thoughts on Chris Powell prior to next season? How have the new board fared since the takeover? How do you expect to do next season?
i'll direct y answer to both of you. it cant be any worse than last season, we've had an encouraging start to the summer with hollands and pritchard coming in, the biggest but if we are to go up we need to sort the defence out and quick, stay as it is we will miss out again, get in 2 decent, younger stronger cbs we will be in the shake up for autos.. the new board have been active in recent weeks to show they want to stop our slide, the club recenty shook up the back room staff and brought in Paul Hart as academy director, i think this is a great move and i think the fans recognise the board are now getting behind the club for a big push next season, Chris Powell is going to be given this summer to see who he brings in and stamps his authority before anyone judges him, but for ow we're behind him, even towards the end of the season you could see he was trying to get us to play football on the ground, under parky we had become a long ball side.
seems a strange choice of manager for a club of your size,i thought you would have gone with someone with more managerial experience.
They're well old enemies from the non-league days, looking forward to stuffing them almost as much as Colchester.
Thanks for that, Blockmaddick - interesting stuff. I'm thoroughly looking forward to my trip to the Valley next season. Fantastic ground, modern yet with character, good people, and an excellent fanbase considering the poor way that club has been run recently.
Where are they now: I wonder what has happened to some of the wums that used to post on our board back on 606 : bergua (aldershot), poxrocks (oxford) and paulo. Any last sightings?
poxrocks has disapeared,bergua has kept quiet since we nicked their players and paolo is in doing his homework
Cheers, i cant say that i,ll miss them, re : Preston I remember having a laugh with them before the play-off final. i walked round to their gate in my colours prior to the game and it turned into a mutual p*** take session,, happy days.
Yes they are a good bunch. I think Charlton are as well. Leeds are but I doubt we'll be seeing them in L1 again. I'll try to build up an index of where all the L1 team fans are. If any seem a good bunch we could suggest they pop over to us for a chat when we have a match coming up. Won't try to lure them over as it would start WW3.
