He was good against Man City , if we go down Bamford would be a good addition to our squad . He won't want to stick around If he doesn't play, also Mbokani has already stated that he would leave if we drop. That would leave us with a confidence shot Jerome and 3 disgruntled loaned out strikers plus Morris. I can't see Lafferty Wolfswinkel or Hooper playing for us again.
I can't see Hooper playing for us again after we sold him to Sheffield Wednesday Jerome will probably do ok in the championship, but we have to invest in a good striker.
Biggest mistake this season was not buying Afobe and gifting him to Bournemouth who are now safe thanks to him.
Someone hasn't updated it http://www.canaries.co.uk/news/article/gary-hooper-sheffield-wednesday-norwich-city-2912717.aspx
I would play Jerome against Man U simply because he scored at Old Trafford but he was useless on Saturday.
If Holty's fit I'd play him - he can do no worse. On the O/T Bamford would be useful in the Championship which I suspect is his level (read into that CJ as well).
My thoughts on Bamford is that he is no better or worse than we already have. Unfortunately, what we already have is not good enough. Every time I giggle over the money we got for Grabban, it's tempered by having paid out the same for the useless Naismith. Something somewhere is very wrong.
I was thinking that. He's a long bet and I don't think he's necessarily what saved them from relegation. A good buy though because I think he will become seriously good. Noticed that Bournemouth have just been fined £7.5m for breaching FFP. So there's not much point comparing ourselves to them given that they've basically cheated their way to safety.
