Just brilliant... fans who've been to Burnley, Barnsley, Doncaster... will probably lose out to people who are going to their first or second away game (and what's the bet that the other game was Brighton?). The loyal fans who travel away losing out to the plastics.

basically... unless you have lot's of money and don't have any work to do and are willing to be up at 7am, you'll get tickets.

I guess us loyal travelling fans will have to listen to it on the radio.

thanks glory hunters... thanks a lot.

STH always have had first shout on tickets. Also although the initial allocation is likely to be 2200, it can be as much as 3600 if demand is high and they will be sold over the phone or online if you can't get to the ticket office.

That is possibly the most ridiculous (non-transfer related!) thing I have ever read on here.

After reading this bitter nonsense, I might use my plastic season ticket status to get a ticket for the game, even though I wasn't intending on going to the game

I haven't missed a league game home or away this season, doesn't make me a better fan, i'm just lucky enough to be able to do it. I reckon the ballot system would've been appropriate, we will sell this game out easy! Even if it is on Valentines day and a Tuesday night. Plus we haven't played there for around 8 years? Something like that anyway.
