    So Messi recently won it and Messi and Ronaldo dominated the vote.

    I've mentioned a few times that IMO Ronaldo is not the player he once was, if Ronaldo is to lose his nailed on 2nd place spot who will be the player to take that step up?

    For the Balloon d'or? It has to be Andros Townsend! Nobody's shots fly higher than his. Even the birds get the **** out of the way! <grr>

    Is he that famous runner? I've always thought he should give athletics a go 100 meter sprint. He should leave football well alone though.

    Loads of people vote for their own teammates and players, so it's pointless.
