Its the ballon d'or award is going to handed out tonight for 2012. Who will win?

 

Messi then Ronaldo - the interesting award will be for 3rd place.

 

Wrong thread but does that include his appearance in front of the magistrate as well?

 

I don´t know if I´ve been missing some thing all these years, but is´nt this Ballon d´or a waste of time ?

Clearly going to be Messi, shame though as I do like Ronaldo and feel a tad sorry for him.

So all players play in Spain. 10 of them play for either Barcelona or Real Madrid. Has the premier league fallen behind?

I wouldn't say the Premier League has fallen behind La Liga in terms of the average of quality.

The lower Prem teams would give the lower La Liga sides a right hiding.


But the top of La Liga is just superb.

 

So who do people think will get 3rd place for the ballon d' or

It's a tough one, but I'll go for Messi. No, scratch that, I'll go for Messi instead.

Maybe not a 'right hiding'. But they'd win.

 

No, look at Bilbao and where they are and look how they dismantled Man U in both legs last season. There wouldnt be a contest of the lower teams played eachother position for position

 

I wouldn't class Bilbao as a 'lower' side though.

Underachieving in the same way you are.

 

I don't think Newcastle are underachieving, I think that is about their level with the squad they have.
