For me it would have to be a home game against Newcastle or Sunderland or it would be ok if we got, Wigan or Blackburn.
Poll is active, who would you like what sort of team vote now, it is open, I go for a team at home, top premier league team like Newcastle, but a lower one would be ok.
I want anyone that we can share a decent bit of banter with and anything that brings in the finances for the January window. Preferably a home draw.
I would have taken Sunderland if Steve Bruce was still with them, suppose I could still wind up Syd on here. Newcastle would bring some banter if it happened, you could have a reunion with them Hoadie
Mike - I have seen a few posts stating 2.30 and 2.40, I guess it must be after whatever the televised game is tomorrow on ITV
Not away, that would be great, just to be at home will be a bonus, if it is not Premiership I have faith we can beat anyone even if it was West ham
well done gills as for who next, reunion with pulis and stoke or either of man u & liverpool. though i feel cheltenham or crawley are round the corner???
I think Stoke would be great, forgot them and also a reunion with Villa would not be bad, do the job this time as their squad is not as good this time round and we nearly beat them, they cheated us last time.
If we are looking at the tie a £££££ in the bank then top team, with large ground, ie Man U, away is the best draw. Thoughts of progression should not be the priority. A home tie would not bring in the money. Sorry but I think 3rd round of FA cup for a league 2 team should be about money.
I thought cup game receipts were split 50/50? They may not be but if they are then surely 60k+ at Old Trafford would be far more financially beneficial than 10k+ at Priestfield. Also the chance for the players to play at a top ground, arsenal or united etc, will not come around too often. Would be a great day out for all. Don't get me wrong I'll happily take a home tie but you asked what would be preferred and I'd prefer a top prem team away.
