Don't see how a scan can go badly, unless the machine inexplicably colllapses on top of you, the result of one however...!
Thanks for the news DL, but I'll believe he's back at close to full strength when I see it. I saw the injury, and I still tend to think he won't have much impact the rest of the year.
I sprained my ankle similarly badly recently RWAEB and it hurt for a while, but I was back to full mobility after about a week.
Thought I'd done myself some real damage at the time, though and it was even worse the day after.

I turned my ankle over jumping down a whole flight of stairs, when I was a kid. it was much worse than Bale's injury, and I was out for only 6 weeks.
