Well seeing as Luis was out of the running obviously, suppose you can't argue, maybe Mata?

Had our lad been a good boy I would have laughed at Bale winning it, Mata has been as good as Bale has if you ask me, in fact more so.

I guess to be fair Bale has dragged Spurs from a definite 10th=ish place finish to 5th all on his own

I'm not, not surprised at all, although Bale has not had the goals, like Suarez he offered a wee bit more and goes missing less than RvP, Robin can be missing for 88 minutes and score a peno

RVP is a great striker, and obviously that can win games, but Bale is a better all round player imo.
Suarez deserved to be in the running because of his football, but his eating habits have let him down badly.

Absolutely crazy. Regardless of his eating habits, Suarez should have won it. If not him, then (and this might be unpopular here) RVP or Carrick for me.

Also, fantastic win for you boys yesterday. After the 3rd goal I just laughed and laughed. It sure beat crying anyway

I really don't like how looked over Mata has been this year. He was some 18 goals and like 20 assists??? crazy figures.

 

I could never see Suarez winning after Gnashergate tbh. Imagine the stink in the press if someone who is widely regarded as the Devil Incarnate was given that award. They'd have a field day.

I have an issue with him winning both. Surely if you are nominated for PFA player you shouldn't be in the running for Young Player as well, just doesn't seem right.

Other than that, no complaints. With Bale Spuds are pushing for top4, without no better than us.
