In one of today's red tops Bale says he's on his way because Spuds look to have all but failed to secure a UCL place during their annual capitulation.http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...fail-to-secure-Champions-League-football.html What with the weasel faced mercenary set to ply his trade in Manchester next season and Adebayor's return to the same Spurs can then settle back into their comfortable category of 'cup team' http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...-sure-Luka-Modric-will-stay-at-Tottenham.html

I know its not over yet Ginge--but when I hear things like this,on top of the Modric thing, I just hope we dont get gulled into making an offer for either of them! I know a few of our stars, went to sleep when AVB was around but, they certainly didn't want to jump ship!

I reckon Cornelius will move abroad. Don't blame him cos Spurs are pointless.

They'll probably go to big clubs that can win things. Doubt they'd settle for mediocrity much longer <ok>

If Spurs do not get into the Champions League next season then expect Bale, Modric and van der Vaart (who joined in 2010 with the knowledge that Spurs were already in the Champions League) to be up for sale along with a few others possibly. By up for sale I mean that they will be available for a top Champions League club to snap up.

Bale is a poor player. He wouldnt be in ours or chelseas team. He just thinks he is a great player when in reality he is a poor 1 trick pony who doesnt even do that very well

Neither do I, but Chelsea and Arsenal fans keep making threads and bang on about them relentlessly.
