This is the text of the BBC match preview. What does the reference to Baldock mean? Or has some twit in BBC just made it up to fill space?

    "TEAM NEWS
Bristol City manager Derek McInnes has no new injury problems ahead of the visit of Peterborough.

Striker Sam Baldock has returned to the club and Louis Carey is pushing for a start, but Ryan Taylor (thigh) and Danny Wilson (hamstring) remain doubts. "

I saw that too and wondered if it related to a slight injury and if it was supposed to say something like, returned to training or similar?

I was also wondering what that statement meant and it almost looks like there's been some issue going on behind the scenes. When he first arrived on the scene I tought he would end up as a regular especially when he started scoring goals but then something happened that meant he was no longer being picked.

We can all speculate what the reason behind Derek's decision is, but his excuse that he did not fit in with the formation setup is a total copout in my mind. Why do we constantly bring in new players that look as if they will fit the bill nicely and then put them on the bench for no apparent reason?

I would ask the reason why Derek's formations are so inconsistent and poor when our results quite frankly are stinknig out the house. Perhaps a lot of players are also losing faith particularly the ones who are inexplicably left out in the cold. Lot's of questions to be answered in the near future and I just hope Derek is up to the task.

It probably just means "returned to the team" seeing as he was left out against Ipswich. <doh>
