Not fair to compare yet. Maynard was one hell of a striker and one of the best in the league. Baldock looks like he can be better if given the chance which he didn't have under McInnes and now he's injured. So if I had to pick now it would be Maynard due to the fact we seen him play over 100 games for us and some great goals

    Bladock seems a decent bloke.

Maynard lied about the clubs fans, stopped trying and cost the club millions.

Rather have Trevor Morgan than Maynard.

Apart from Tom Richie & Brian Tinman all the others were before my time but still guessed them. As a young kid we were on holiday in Bournemouth and what made my Dad's holiday was Shadow Williams was staying in the same hotel, whoever Shadow Williams is!

Big JR Joe Royal or James 'Jimmy' Rogers I think Granddad talked about him as a striker but I thought he was a winger. or loan Players John Ruddy or Jason Roberts H. Mc only one I can think of is Hugh 'Hughie' McIlmoyel.

    OK Who am I?

I started as an Amateur for Bristol City but they let me go I went on to play for Arsenal(for whom I was top scorer one year) and Blackpool in the top division before rejoining Bristol City.

Bobby "Shadow" Williams about 5ft 7 inches of little genius.
On New St station after a game at Walsall he came out with this one; "Nothing better in life than a good hard game of football, a couple or three pints, and then back home and up on it"

We scored goals for fun with Brian Clark, Big John and Shadow as ourstrike force.

Alan Skirton. A powerhouse right winger who scared the sh1t out of left backs. Thanks for the memories. Now I'll have a look at the others above or maybe after dinner which I'm cooking.

He tormented defenders all across the back row and in those days there were often five or six facing City's rampant attack.
