The FA came under much criticism for the cost of rebuliding Wembley and rightly so. They have however taken steps to ensure that the cost of the new Centre for Excellence will be recouped as quickly as possible. So far John Terry and Ashley Cole have paid for half of it!
They won't get much out of Cole this time as he has apologised in person to one of the chaps in blazers and shook his hand which, apparently, makes it all right. Amazing world these Gentlemen live in. 'Sorry old boy for shagging your wife can we just shake hands and move on' - 'Spiffing show old Chap. Wonderful gesture. I'll just rip up my letter to the Times calling you a bounder'
Why don't clubs ban their players from Twitter? Can't anybody live without it? Or is that infringing their rights to be treated like every other human being? Trouble is its not most players is it. Its just some who have to be in the limelight. Like Mr Holier than Thou Rio Ferdinand. Kick racism out of sport he says but refers to gays as "***gots". Been banned from driving 5 times. Banned for eight months for failing a drugs test. Fined heavily for a Twitter comment. Been involved in rape cases and made sexually explicit films. With that smile he was nicknamed two faced and is well named.
