    Hi All,

The incidents are being discussed on the bbc website at the moment, so I thought I would try and get your informed opinions regarding the Rosberg crowding Hamilton and Alonso, and Hamiltons "passing off track".

Imo I think Rosberg veered quite suddenly, and that (as happens with so many F1 rules) whilst it looked wrong (RB flexi wing hmmm) by the letter of the rules it was ok.

And the stewards were right not to punish Lewis, not because of the reasons they gave (as shown in the link) but because he didn't actualy pass him on track, but into the corner. Plus Vettel made a number of of track passes last year than no one mentioned.

Here is the bbc link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/andrewbenson/2012/04/unanswered_questions_for_rosbe.html

Here is the Lewis incident: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zQLcoASK9ew

    What do you think?

In both cases the stewards investigated after the race and decided to take no further action.

I thought performing an overtake which breaches the track boundary wasnt allowed.

He could have pulled out. It wasnt like he was left with zero opition, he could have chosen to abort the move and not breach the track

He wasnt physically pushed off was he, he could have pulled out. Rosberg performed 1 move to impede his move, Hamilton chose to go off the track

Aside from the fact that is very difficult for the driver to judge Hamilton could have aborted and complained to stewards, fact his we probably would have got past in the next few corners. But he lost any highground when he decided to overtake outside the track.

Anyhow seems the stewards have bottled it as they are leaving any decision to after the race

Alonso was alongside Rosberg when he pushed him out that time. Black flag?

Would think it will go against rosberg as he didnt leave a cars width again.

Rosberg has been around Schumacher too long. Disgraceful that the stewards are investigating it after the race again, what's the point of having a rule if you're not going to bother to enforce it.

Hard racing. No contact and the impeded driver did not ultimately come off worse. Doubt if there will be any penalties, maybe a warning to rosberg about driving standards as he did the same to alonso.

Roseberg was just defending his position.

See debate earlier about leaving a car width either side which Rosberg failed to do on 4 occassions. Hamilton, Di Resta and Alonso x2
