Michael Fassbender made that film. He was class in it.

Fassbender is class in virtually every film he is involved in.

Inglorious Basterds is his best for me even though he isn't in it long.

    Also, his name sounds brilliant.

Yeah that scene in the beer keller is good.

I didn't realise he was in Band of Brothers until I watched it the other day.

Aye, I didn't realise until years after I first watched it.

There's loads of people in it who you probably didn't see the first time - Fassbender, Simon Pegg, James McAvoy, Tom Hardy, Andrew Scott, Stephen Graham...

Band Of Brothers is still my favorite TV serial ever. Nothing has topped it and I think nothing will.

The book was good as well.

It was a bit weird seeing David Schwimmer as an authority figure/serious role.

Also, it was strange to see a lot of Brits in an American show like that. And in big roles as well.

Especially considering they are playing Americans as well!

Just shows who produces the better actors <ok>

Damian Lewis has played loads of Yanks, yet when you hear him normally he has such a stereotypically English voice. It's really weird.

Also, helps if you're loaded and go to a posh drama college.

Mind you, Idris Elba was good in the Wire & I doubt he went to owt like RADA.

I suppose it was only a matter of time before they discovered he wasn't really a woman.

He did not - he worked in Crimewatch reconstructions instead...

"In one episode of Crimewatch I played the part of a guy who chopped up his girlfriend and hid her in the freezer. We filmed at the actual crime scene. They'd had to strip the walls to get rid of the blood spatters. I kept thinking, 'In terms of acting, the only way is up.'"
