Before this gets silly, it does look like what he has posted is more down to him being a ****ing idiot other than being racist.

A footballer who has the nickname "Super Mario" and is famous for pictures of himself with Mario reposts an image of Super Mario with the message "Don't be a racist" at the top. And the story is he's a racist.
I agree, he's stupid, very, very stupid but it's clear that it's not an intentional racist remark. He should still get a 5 game ban though just to make sure he cannot play for us.........I mean to make sure he's learned from his mistake.
The post was immediately deleted. Certain media sites tracked it down in archives and posted it front page to give everyone the opportunity to be offended though.
It patently wasn't deleted immediately, as people have reacted to it and the media have become aware of it. It's then snowballed, as that's how the entire thing works, it's not some form of meeja withchunt against kopites ffs
Two main things about the internet that completely dick me off... 1) Hyper sensitivity and the hyper PC brigade, as in this case 2) Those motivational, inspirational and sappy memes and sayings on social media and the people who persistently post them
