From BBC Sport...we have (apparently) missed out on the signing of Ivica Olic.

Could it be to make Crouch & Odemwinkle feel younger?

We missed out a few years ago when we tried to buy Andy Cole from Arsenal.

Trouble was he went to Newcastle.

Cole to Newcastle....geddit.

Hang on it was Cole FROM Newcastle.

Missed out twice <laugh>
