    From BBC Sport...we have (apparently) missed out on the signing of Ivica Olic.

    1. I'm absolutely gutted.
    2. Er...who is he/she.
    3. Why are we looking at a 34 year old striker fro Wolfsburg?

    Could it be to make Crouch & Odemwinkle feel younger?

    4. Er why are we reported to be looking at a 34 year old anybody?

    Get Danny Ings or Jordan Rhodes I say.

    Riviere is being offered for £4.5 million to newcastle, so want to sign him up as he has been scoring well this season (13 goals)

    We missed out a few years ago when we tried to buy Andy Cole from Arsenal.

    Trouble was he went to Newcastle.

    Cole to Newcastle....geddit.

    Hang on it was Cole FROM Newcastle.

    Missed out twice <laugh>
