Let's not forget the work of the backroom staff. Nigel is always quick to praise everyone at the club, including medical and fitness staff. The lads are kept in peak fitness and look leaner and meaner than ever..in fact, Lallana looks like he could do with a pie! It's the good work of the unseen staff which enable the team to go out there and perform and allow Nigel to relax about that side of the club. Thanks Nicola for providing the background to enable Nigel and the team to shine.

Excellent point Fran! I think we are probably all guilty of overlooking the crucial work the backroom staff do. Never seen the guys look more prepared physically, but would refrain from recommending the use of pies to beef them up a bit
