Great see Roger & his wife back at Sparrows Lane.

Along with the late Mike Norris, the best owner this club has had, by a country mile.

A penny for Roger’s thoughts there - he bought Sparrows Lane for the club while we were in exile at Selhurst, only to see future owners including Murray fritter it all away.

Sad. But thank you, Roger. A true CAFC hero.

Getting back to the Valley was one of the happiest days of my life. When the teams came out of the tunnel I am not ashamed to admit that I shed a tear or two.

Roger Alwen must have shed a tear on returning to Sparrows Lane. It was all for nothing. Duchatelet has the future of the club by the bollox.

A Charlton man, who wanted what was best for the club.
