Rumors have been circulating the web for years that Nike will be releasing the Air Mag sneakers famously known for appearing in the film Back to the Future II. The first solid evidence we got of such a release came last year when photos of a US patent application submitted by Tinker Hatfield hit the web showing the blueprints for a self-lacing sneaker with a lightning system. Adding to the speculation of the possibility of future release, word has it Nike is in the midst of filming a super secret commercial for the Air Mag involving Christopher Lloyd. A film crew has been spotted at the Puente Hills Mall in the City of Industry, California where scenes from the movie were originally shot filming a DeLorean as it rips around the parking lot. When asked what was going on, a security guard on set said Nike was filming a commercial, but wouldnât go into further details. Other sources claimed it was a scene for Back to the Future 4. As far as we know, there wonât be a Back to the Future 4, so that leaves the rent-a-cop with the best answer here. Could the future of self-lacing sneakers become a reality sooner than we think? http://www.sneakerobsession.com/449...ng-commercial-for-a-upcoming-air-mag-release/
Yeah I know, but they'll probably be very popular in the states. WIll be interesting to see their self-lacing technology.
