Three years ago, after 17 games we were in 16th place with 16 points.

Today, after 17 games we are in 16th place (depending on what happens between Newc and Sund) with 17 points.

Three years ago we sacked Colin and brought in Sparkless and it was downhill all the way for the next 18 months.

It has taken the next 18 months to get back to where we were 3 years ago.

About time we sacked Harry then!

I suppose the main difference is under Colin at this stage we were only heading one way but this time we are heading more upwards-ish, a bit.

    Well not quite.

Instead, amidst all the doom and gloom in those 18 months we beat Chelsea at the Bridge and then went through last day survival. After those 18 months we packed out Wembley to win with 10 men, and have signed the current most prolific English striker in the Premier League.

Not saying it's all been good, but it certainly hasn't all been bad!

Yes...but we had a day out at Wembley in between and that has given us all a lifetime of memories.....Besides we were so ill equipped for the Prem last time that it wasn't a bad thing getting relegated......we are in a better place now.....

Yes, I wouldn't trade that Wembley win for anything. Priceless day...
