Don't think anyone's considered this properly yet (but there'll probably be 2 articles on it by the time i post this also i havent read all the Nolan threads) but with us selling Nolan for roughly the same amount as Cabaye, and with Cabaye probably on cheaper wages (albeit a longer contract) surely that will have only taken a couple of million max out of the supposed transfer budget? will we spend the full amount though?
When Tiote signed his new 5yr contract it was written that his new contract came out of that, not sure how that works but a few have signed new contracts recently so not sure if that comes out of the alleged £35Million too

the 35million was going to go into all aspects of the club, players wages included. So yes Tiote's deal comes out of that money.
Yeah wages as well, which I have no problem with. Then there's moves for players like Zog, Barnetta, Gardner, Taylor, Erdinc. If they happen of course Plus the Enrique + cash deal for Gomez Still plenty of targets/time in which to splash the cash. We're spending it wisely, which I'm happy with so far.
