I saw the reaction to the result last night and my god, our fans are bunch of fannies that are on their period, wanting the boss out after losing a pre-season game, good god, support him for goodness sake, he's already under pressure from the press and media, he doesn't need our fans piling on him and getting him the sack, there's a reason why Fergie chose Moyes to become our manager its because he rates him and will do a good job for us, i have no doubts about that.
I want to see some positive signs, a silver lining, before he gets my full backing. Until then, I'm just gonna be supporting my United only. I'll be a neutral, maybe slightly positive and optimistic, towards Moyesy.
That's a terrible comment red. Surely a new manager, hand picked by the greatest to succed him, deserves your full backing, or are you waiting until he signs somebody like a lot of the prawn sandwich brigade
Plastic glory hunting tosspot Support your new manager ffs The ultimate poisoned chalice,Moyes will need all the support possible
This, we all knew it wasn't going to be plain sailing, there's going to be bumps on the road, pre-season doesn't matter.
Moyes has possibly one of the hardest jobs in football, as to replace Britain's greatest ever manager and inject life into the team, while making his mark and sustaining a certain level of success that the club and fans demand, mean that personally I can't see him lasting. I always believed whoever replaced fergie was destined to fail and only after that would you see the real fergie successor appear, but anyhow that's just my view and I hope Moyes is allowed a chance as it's such a difficult job, and already you can sense certain fans are getting worried.
DM has certainly the hardest job in football. He is taking over a very successful side. Not like most new managers who are recruited to replace unsuccessful managers. He should be supported 100%. Without the support his already difficult job will be impossible. We certainly cannot expect constant wins like we did with SAF.
It would seem there was not a great deal of planning going into the transitional period between ferguson & Moyes Compare with city and how the transfer targets were already more or less sorted before Pellegrini came in and they were done with his backing Utd clearly need strengthening in midfield and the Rooney situation has been allowed to develop into a real problem which needs addressing
I know DM needs our support but it isn't written in stone that he is the right man. Nor did I see him being unveiled as our new manager this season, so in a way I'm still not ready to fully embrace him. Wouldn't that be like just a blind and ignorant supporter? For signs, I meant something pragmatic and positive, it doesn't have to be like a high profile one like Cesc. For example, Wigan stuck with Martinez because, despite all the losses, he was giving them good football. And I do understand Moyes has a lot on his hands, Fergie left a lot of things unresolved, namely Rooney Nani and that big void in midfield.
Oh please back him. This could be the best appointment there has ever been. For the sake of football, please don't sack him.
Good for English football? No evidence of that, neither is he English, and if United were to go in decline, that would be one of the biggest loss for English football.
Hey give him a chance before we start talking of 'decline' I personally do not have high expectations for this season. If we get CL I'll be happy.
Next Saturday will be the start of the important games for all of us, time is what Moyes needs and he will come good
