Disappointing result on Saturday, bit worrying when we let a two goal lead slip against a team as sh!te as Burnley. On the plus side it was the first City game for my little lad as we live in Holland and he enjoyed himself especially singing at that muppet of a ref "You don't know what your doing". Also well thrilled with his Tigers, hat, scarf and gloves. Great to be back in Hull and amongst normal people again . Keep the faith boys and keep cheering on the Tigers. Be back when I can (bring my little girl next time
Nah mate. Was in East stand, right in the corner. Nigel Hudgeon Law stand or something or other. Winter Wonderland in the Bonus Arena followed by City. Can't get there every week (maybe three games a year) but that is the first defeat I've seen at KC since it opened. Gutted. Live near Amsterdam but no where in the world better than 'Ull
I had one or two good nights out in Haarlem many years ago, not a bad place to be, but you are right I would also prefer to be back in Hull area.
We used to go there every year (late eighties) with Cott. Rangers. That's how I managed to meet a Dutch bird and end up here. Haarlem is good to live in but bit quiet. Close to Amsterdam, airport and beach though so not bad. Miss my days living in Cott and down Cranbrook Ave and of course watching City.
I was in the fish business and went to Imjuiden, and one Dutch guy I worked with lived near Haarlem, so some weekend we would meet up there for a few beers.
have had many trips to Amstersdam and Rotterdam for biz niz and pleasure. No place like it. Drug sales there resemble the big issues sales in ull. A real eye opener.
Fish factory in Ijmuiden was one of my first jobs in Clogland. Great time there, met up with all kinds of nationalities and/or characters. As for the drug sales, know what you mean. When you live here and work in Amsterdam you don't tend to look after a while.
I used to stay in a small hotel near the port called Augusta, in the restaurant was a clock which came from Paragon station Hull, (this was printed on the face) which made me feel at home.
