The Chairboys entertain the Tangerines at Adams Park with both teams looking to get their season back on track if we think the wheels have fallen of our wagon take a look at the Tangerines fall from grace on the 7th December they were 4th on 32pts and are now 15th on 34pts and we must be looking to inflict more misery on the Seasiders under the lights at AP. Gaz has no new injury worries but will be without the suspended duo of Kashket and Phillips he will be hoping he may have the services of Jack and Fred soon who both have pelvic injuries and have been missing for two and four months respectively but with no reserve football to bring them on the best we could hope for will be seeing them on the bench which big Dave will probably be on as well although I think he is a far better keeper that Rocky. The Tangerines have a trio of new loan singings who are all likely to start. I will be braving the cold January weather tonight looking for the lads to make my journey worth while with a special performance to warm the cockles and send all us Chairboys home happy
With the new loan signings, it's a banker away win, more misery for the fans and falling attendances. Why have we not strengthened the strike force?
I thought our attendances were up I know it was back to normal against Rochdale under the 5,000, & on a January night there is'nt going to be a lot of away support tonight.
#Chairboys XI: Stockdale, McCarthy, Stewart, Charles, Mascoll, Gape, Bloomfield, Freeman, Wheeler, Smyth, Samuel. Subs: Allsop, Jombati, Pattison, Thompson, Akinfenwa, Parker, Ofoborh. #WYCvBLP
A crap starting XI. I'd rather have Ofoborh than Bloomfield any anyone in for Samuel who is a headless chicken with the goalscoring threat of my cat! JJ a big miss tonight as well.
I take it you will not be watching on ifollow Mowgli, agree totally about Samuel, I see Stockdale has gone straight in. I think that shows Ainsworth not convinced with Allsop
JJ is a big miss, blooms and Samuel are headless chickens which I don’t mind so much if we had anyone clinical around them. Time for Smyth to step up, he looked so good at the beginning of the season.
I want to see Smyth play as a striker not out on the wing, he played as a striker for QPR so why not with us?
Some people are saying it looks like the game will have to be postponed as the medics are still up in the stand treating the patient and the helicopter has been turned off, it's times like these when we realise some things are more important than a game of football, i just pray that whoever has been taken ill will be fine after a hospital stay.
The fan has been taken to hospital in a regular ambulance and the game should start at around 8-30 apparently.
That's a bloody long trip for Blackpool, as you say these things happen hope they recover must be bad to send a helicopter
