    Hiya guys,

I've been reading your posts but haven't been posting due to self-imposed exile from any 606-related forums.. I see some of the regulars are posting and it's good to see most if not all have moved over here. First off to some posters, i'd like to apologise, I'm under the impression that my running feud with a certain poster on another board led to some leaving 606, leaving me quite disappointed in myself, I never meant for anyone to stop enjoying posting and I am determined not to let this happen again.

Well.. what a few weeks, we've gone from massive heartache at seeing us slip by the wayside in the playoffs, we all know who went on to win them, let's not mention that eh? Then we dropped even more into depression with the news that Alan Shearer may be taking over, but over the hill on his steed came riding Malky Mackay winning me £80 in the process.. happy days.. and we all seem quite happy with his appointment.

So one signing in the bag in Conway, and i'm hearing various stories that Taylor is in talks and possibly Earnie too as well as the man with all the self-advertisment Goodwillie.. I'm feeling pretty damn good at the moment.. stuck well in optimism corner, happy with the progress Malky is making and the discussions he's having.

Just out of interest, would anyone like to see Ardley (highly rated in the press) move up to the 1st team coaching staff? I certainly would.

So does anybody have any preferred transfers to come in? Mine would be Liam Lawrence (I rate him highly at this level), Bellers, Earnie, Brown (Portsmouth) and anybody else who'll play for the badge with a bit of passion and guts. Well hopefully Malky can bring some good boys in. I'd also like to fight tooth and nail to keep hold of Whitts and also revert him back to the left hand side and build the midfield around his runs off the ball the season before last.

Shame to see Chops go but I do feel he'd come to a crossroads at Cardiff after a tempestuous season on and off the pitch. My favourite all time Bluebird along with Boland so I wish him well for next season apart from the 2 games against us..

Good to be back boys and hopefully.. welcomed back!

    BLUEBIRDS!

Welcome back indeed Benni - history is history mate. <ok>

As far as Ardley is concerned, Malky should find first team involvement for him - he's done a magic job with the academy.

    Welcome aboard Benni.
I wouldn't worry about any running feuds. You may have noticed there's one or two developing quite nicely on here as it is :)

Welcome back Benni, nice to see you back from your self enforced absence. If people have left the board then it has been their own choice, i personally havn't seen anything that could back up their claim. All you have done is repeatedly put a certain "menace" poster in his place on numerous occasions. I enjoy the banter and it has never gone any further than that and i have joined in myself on a few occasions lol.

Your definately right though mate, exciting times ahead and there is a good air of optimism floating around at the moment, hopefully we can get the old Ninian Park atmosphere back as at times that has been lacking under DJ's leadership. He alienated himself from the fans and maybe it showed on matchdays, perhaps someone else has any theories on why we fail to generate the noise that we all know is capable of the Cardiff fans

I'd personally like to see Brian Stock in Cardiff's midfield, always an assured performer, excellent vision and awareness and a very good passer of the ball, able to hit a shot from range and a very good penalty taker and never shys away from getting stuck in. The fact that he also represents Wales has nothing to do with it :emoticon-0116-evilg.

Milf! How ya doing butt? My uncle's been down to my gran's house, but said there was nothing there? :-/ but I don't reckon he looked properly? I've been snowed under in work and haven't had a chance to go down. Anybody know if you can direct/private message on here? That might be a good shout.

Well, seeing as the weather is a belter at the mo, I might finish early one evening and head down Milford for a catchup with ya? I'll let ya know on here?

Phillis is here giving it the big heave ho as usual, and we think kangarooman is about under a different monika.

As for uplands, he's probably more concerned about his cross-dressing wardrobe for the summer..............<laugh>

Don't worry about starting any problems on this forum, they tend to be nipped in the bud, example would be the EBARGO article <laugh>
