Suggestions being made that Odense want to sell Zohore for the cash and not loan him out. Looks likely that Tan's Belgian club KV Kortrijk who are not under any sort of embargo will stump up the cash to buy him with a view to loaning him straight out to City. Bit of a back door scenario if it comes off but all within the rules.
Just goes to show how toothless the ffp rules really are. Clearly a way round the embargo. How long before the rules are changed. An easy change would simply be that a player can't change clubs twice in the same window.
Watford did a similar thing a couple of years back when they under an embargo. I think they brought in about 8 players on loan from Udinese and Granada who were also owned by the Pozzo family. I don't know if they deliberately bought anyone like this suggestion but it amounts to the same thing.
Front door, back door, window (back or front), chimney or keyhole. All the same to me. if it is allowed then let's get it on. I remember the furore though about Watford. Didn't they get promotion (or nearly so) as a result? And didn't they then have a worry about keeping the players that they had got used to and needed?
Just the paperwork then. http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/cardiff-citys-move-kenneth-zohore-10814500
