    I was going to make an article on this, but then i decided to check the 2nd page to see if anybody had already made one. Certain posters who sHall reMain unmenTioned should take note.

    It's a no brainer on a free, but I'd be disappointed if he was our only signing upfront, what with his injury record and our supposed transfer budget. Having said that though, if we brought in two strikers, we'd be needing to move on/loan out a couple

    If we loan out Ranger and remove Kuqi from the equation then Ba and Gameiro (for the sake of argument) would have us a total of 5 strikers, 2 of which very good ones. We started this season with 6, and only one of them was any good.

    It must be his wages then, because they wouldn't let him just go for free and for no reason.

    I'd pay 5 mil for him, but for free definitely.

    I think Ba and Gameiro/Sturridge would be a good upfront pair.

    I'll be happy with this when the transfer window shuts :

    Strikers :

    Gamiero/Sow
    Ba/Rondon
    Best
    Lovenkrands
    Ameobi(sell if possible)
    Youngsters(Young Ameobi/Airey/etc)

    Send Ranger out on loan with a clause to bring him back(injuries for example). <ok>

    This would be a good signing and perhaps we could pull it off given no money is involved. Right up our street this one.

    He Might Turn out to be a good signing. But I worry that because he has a known ongoing injury problem we cannot rely on him being fit. If we can get somebody else I would prefer it.
