Well I suppose these should still happen even if we're all disappointed... Best Driver: Bottas was pretty flawless all weekend, defended well against his team-mate. Worst Driver: Kubica? Luckiest Driver: Unluckiest Driver: Kvyat Best Rookie/New Driver: Norris Best Team: Mclaren and Racing Point were both excellent Surprise Team: Renault for being surprisingly bad? Worst Team: Williams, although not an easy weekend for them. Best Overtake: I honestly can't remember a single overtake that wasn't DRS into the first corner. Biggest Surprise: Leclerc showing faults. Cooked his medium tyres which compromised his strategy, plus the Q2 crash. Most expected result: Vettel P3, never thought he'd challenge anyone. Funniest moment: The ****show that was FP1, the mess of an F2 sprint race? Excuse of the weekend: Leclerc for not even offering one. Special Mention: Kimi and Perez both had excellent weekends, Gasly probably would have made P5 had his car not failed. Race Rating: 4/10

Best Driver: bottas won it. he took quali, he never put a foot wrong and put his car where Hamilton could hit him or give up the place. They are really poor tactically and strategically. they've got it badly badly wrong and should have two race wins but have nothing and have lost both championships already after only 4 races Best Overtake: any non DRS? Best Driver: Bottas, didn't make any mistakes and even gave his team mate room. Worst Driver:Kubica, I was going to say Riccy but I guess he is just getting frustrated and pushing way too hard. LuckiestDriver: Difficult one. Luckiest Driver: Marcus Ericsson-He escaped to Indy! Unluckiest Driver: Kvyat & Russel, Though the laps times were probably better on that Williams after having the chassis cut to ribbons. Best Rookie/New Driver: Lando Best Team: Merc Surprise Team: Not bad from Macca. Slowly getting back up there. Worst Team: Williams... goof grief, they need help! Best Overtake: The one that we didn't get to see because they pitted Vettel. Bottlers! Biggest Surprise: Leclerc turns out to be human after all. Unluckiest Driver: Kvyat Best Rookie/New Driver: Lando Norris, loved the put down he gave Eddie Jordan after qualification Best Team: Merc Surprise Team: McLaren Worst Team: Easy to say Williams but I am going to say Ferrari who should be doing better than this and rewarding the fans with a spectacle given their budget. Best Overtake: N/A Biggest Surprise: that it wasn't more fun!! Most expected result: Williams last, might as well ink that in for the season. Funniest moment: Of the whole weekend, Claire's face when Kubica messed up at turn 8, but also sad. Of the race Ricciardo's reverse but was dumb more than funny. Excuse of the weekend: calling it a race. ( I am with SgtBhaji on this one). We expect more. Special Mention: Perez, Race Rating: a miserable 2/10

Quite uncharacteristic. I also have to say Kubica is not up to the job. LuckiestDriver: Whomever had the most preferential treatment, especially if unjustified by being at odds with evidence. Unluckiest Driver: Kvyat. Best Rookie/New Driver: Norris. Best Team: Mercedes. Surprise Team: I'll also go with McLaren for this. Worst Team: Pound for pound, Ferrari: an overweight, multi-headed (or headless?) chicken. Best Overtake: Leclerc v Verstappen caused more than a few cheers. Biggest Surprise: Ricciardo. So far as I know, he's never previously displayed such a lack of awareness. Most expected result: Williams at the back. Funniest moment: Not funny; but Ricciardo has probably scuppered any chance of a job with BSM. Excuse of the weekend: Ferrari. Special Mention: Leclerc Race Rating: 4.02/10. These cars are an improvement and DRS should be made more difficult, not easier. Still, the public outcry of the recent past has, in a sense, got its just desert...
