Can't see it myself, why would they sell their star player to a relegation rival? Also says a lot about our scouting system... They've had all this time since summer to find players and it comes down to, halfway through January, we play a team and Sam says "he's good"
He would be a cracking signing. He has the flair we have been missing since Sess left. Wouldn't mind his brother coming either from villa
If we had played our cards right a few years back we may have been at the front of the queue for the Ayew brothers and not at the back, behind Villa and Swansea.
I don't think we were even in the queue mate. We were queueing up for Toivonen and Matthews (and M'Vila to be fair).
How about 15 mil or 20 mil + Graham. I'd probably choose option A if I were them. I'm not taking this rumour seriously, they'd be mad to sell him and there's no indication we have the wage budget to sign someone like him. Good player though.
How do you know we even in for any of them? He could have chosen us over either them. We'll never know. Just a blind guess to put the club down by the looks
Do people with the sly digs treat your lasses the same way? I ****ing hate this board atm. Folk left right and centre having sly little digs at our club without of fraction of evidence off to back up their spiteful digs. Is there not enough facts you lot(those constantly having digs at the club) can use to get your fill or is the need to go all jackanory just a compulsion?
Hopefully nothing in it - without being disrespectful Ayew would want a club in a better position than Sunderland (and if he were looking to come to us from another club he'd probably laugh). OK you can have him for £20 million & keep Danny (even though he got a very good reception from our lot on Wednesday) - I reckon we could get Bony back for that sort of Wonga (Sorry - couldn't resist).
No chance of this happening. Hes their key man and selling him to a relegation rival would be effectively throwing the towell in Wish we'd got him and Gignac for free from Marseille in the summer. £20m+ worth of players for £0 so wages wouldn't have been an issue you'd think.
TC - experience as a Sunderland fan tells you this sort of stuff happens regularly - it's part of our "magic"
We had to pay an enormous signing on fee + agent's fee - no such thing as a free transfer only a different name on the cheque.
