There was a rumpus when Woy was n charge about us allegedly sending him back late & injured which seemed to ruffle a few feathers but Ayala made it known that he'd be pleased to come back to us. Now Clough at Derby is making noises about him going there...... Good luck for rest of season - seems KK might have been an inspired appointment!
He was a good fit for you guys.. I posted an article on the ex606 about him and your fans seemed to be raving! I'd like him to get more first team chances here but if he goes on loan to you lot again i wouldn't complain
its his own career, some grab it and some don't. i mean lets be fair to ince he grabbed his chance with both hands. so did san jose. ayala and pacheco have not grabbed their chances. zak whitbread made a bit of a career for himself, so did pongolle... others don't have the application or consistency. i think we are lucky to have a bit of a conveyor belt going now and we've 3 guys who we bought cheap as kids in the first team. ibe, sinclair, pelosi and teixteria might be the next ones... morgan is the only local even close... not counting robinson i suppose whos kind of in between. anyway... some make it most don't. Ayala should have done more with his talent then hang round lower english league. pay in lower spanish must be muck i suppose.
He's had injury problems too. Just find it a bit mind boggling that we had an injury crises in defense under Rafa and Ayala played quite a few games then boom, gone! And yes, I know thats football. What happened to Paletta too? Is he still in Italy?
I thought he looked a decent defender when he came in for a few games when we had a lot of injuries. Suprised hewas gone so soon after that but looks like he wasn't going to make it judging by his career since then. San Jose is a strange one - never got a loo in here went back to Spain and is first choice over there now.
