Fellow Canaries - this is not a time for pissing and moaning. It is a time to stand firm in the belief that our boys will come good.

The close season saw some big changes in both management and playing staff, on an unprecedented scale. Our 1st choice of manager was instilled along with some players which have been our our wish list for some time. Aside from Fulham and today, the biggest change that CH has made has been to strengthen our defence and our midfield. My feeling is all that remains is some better link-up and understanding between the midfield and attacking sections. Once this has been achieved, we will become a team to be feared.

I don't want to hear none of this CH out business yet - it's still early days and I have faith that he is still the right man to lead us in the long term.

    That is all.

Whilst I appreciate the sentiment, no Canary fan can be happy with that rubbish we saw today.

I am not calling for Hughton's head but things are getting worrying. On -9 goal difference, wrong team formation, poor tactics and subs that are a mystery...etc. As you say Beef, hopefully this will get Hughton into gear asap

Saw some of the second half...thought Hughton looked like a rabbit in the headlights at times, a bit out of his depth, as it were, the body language didn't look good...

I agree with the sentiment of the original writer. If our fans start calling for the head of Hughton, we may as well book our place in the Championship now. All that discontent didn't do Blackburn any good last year.

Fulham and Liverpool are bigger and better teams than us - fact! They have more money, which is what comes from being established in the Prem for a number of years and we saw the gulf in class yesterday. Sometimes, results like that do us a big favour as they show the areas that need working on in stark contrast. And - I'd rather concede 5 goals in 2 stinkers of games than 10 goals in 5 games where we are more capable of getting results..

Yes but what if they had changed say in January?Would they have stayed in the Prem? The fans saw the problem but they did nothing to change and look what happened!

Again I am not saying get rid of Hughton. He needs more games but he also needs to sort a lot out.

I don't whether to laugh or cry at some of what's being posted tonight. We've been hammered by a team who should have beaten Man Utd, who outplayed Arsenal for much of a game they lost, and who are far far better than their position in the table yesterday lunchtime indicated. We gifted them two goals, and gave away more trying to get back into the game. By the end we had at least got both our main strikers on the scoresheet, something that our "best" striker in the first half had failed to do, despite at least two good chances. Yes we need to see some changes for next week, and I'm sure we will. <ok>

I 100% agree with what Robbie said.

They also outplayed Man City and thoroughly deserved the draw they got. We lost to a decent team. Yes, the performance was not up to scratch and I think we're going to see some changes to the squad now.

I think ultimately the team that will end up being our best is, more or less:
    Away-
    Ruddy
    Martin Bassong R Bennett Garrido
    E Bennett Tettey Howson Pilkington
    Butterfield
    Holt

    And home-
    Ruddy
    Martin Bassong R Bennett Garrido
    Snodgrass Fox Howson Pilkington
    Jackson Holt

    There or thereabouts.

With options to come on of Surman if we want to inject some creativity or Johnson if we want to break up the game. Also we will have Morison to come on (who I think has looked decent so far) if we want our defensive formation to be aggressive
