This feels like a pivotal game in our season. Win, and we could be back within 3-5 points of the play offs. Lose, and we will be 9-10 points off…I don’t see us making up a gap that big given the lack of quality & consistency in our squad. I have provided a handy map for fans travelling there tomorrow night.
Football is an unpredictable game, but based on Saturday I can't see further than a defeat for Charlton. Hope for the sake of our travelling fans that I am wrong.
Lose again and our season's over. No way will the SMT admit failure, they're doing very well thank you out of failure. The term "must-win game" is overused, but it really does apply here.
This is very useful @Likey , whilst I was travelling all around the country following the best team in the world I came across lots of people who followed us living in the areas shown. I think you should offer this service for every away game that covers the North West and surrounding areas.
According to Google Maps, there are 16 kebab shops on the short 59m journey between Wrexham & Bolton. If that’s not an incentive to go tomorrow night, I don’t know what is.
Bolton’s most recent form is identical to ours - 2 wins, 2 defeats & 1 draw. I hope he starts Godden & Leaburn together up front tonight - draws are not much good to us now, we need wins to close the gap. I’ve seen a stat that Tyreece Campbell only has one league goal and one league assist this season - nowhere near good enough, even at this level.
Hopefully Rotherham was a one off as the previous 4 or 5 games it was coming together. I cannot understand the negative thinkers around here.
I hope you’re right - I was glad to miss the 2nd half on Saturday and I'm hoping Jones display was a one off - a lot of hoping going on !
Didn't he and Leaburn score in back to back league games Northampton and following game can't think who it was
Bit non-eventful at the moment- looking like a 0-0 or one goal nicks it at the moment, let’s see where we are in another 55 minutes……
Really boring half of Football. But we look a lot tighter than against Rotherham. But very little creativity. Berry seems to be a bit of a luxury that we can’t afford.
