Good day out this one....maybe 20 hrs plus away from home for the Green Army.....404 mile journey, so a round trip of 808 miles from Plymouth or 672 as the crow flies... (do you know any crows that are going ?)....last time I checked 1400 tickets had been sold...so that's a total mileage of 1,131,200....not a lot of people know that...for what it's worth. Sunderland are unbeaten at home, but have drawn nearly half of them....and have dropped off the pace slightly......a point would be a good result....but three is possible and Argyle have nothing to lose in trying for a win....it's a chance to take.
Freddie Ladapo is nursing a thigh injury and will be checked out Saturday morning.....Ryan Taylor will be on standby in case Ladapo fails a test on his thigh.
Threlkeld in for Sarcevic. Ladapo starts after Derek Adams smokescreen. Sorry, after injury scare. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S9
Lot of people shouting for Threlkeld to be given a shirt so this is his chance to start a game. Have to say he has big boots to follow lately so if he does usurp Sarcevic then he will be playing out of his skin. This is just another game and the result can go our way no matter what league positions say. Gonna be hard but is doable. COYG
Team. Letheren, Smith-Brown, Edwards, Canavan, Sawyer, Fox, Songo, Threlkeld, Carey, Lameiras, Ladapo. Subs Macey, Riley, Jones, Ness, Wootton, Anderson, Taylor.
Ok they are in a playoff place but hardly set div.1 on fire....we can beat them so just carry on from last week be positive!
Batteries in radio have failed. No replacements. More worrying than the score, Letheren is unable to take goal kicks. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S9
Well out played by the stats....yet Sunderland have drawn 8 games at home ? Sounds like Letheren worked himself to death....couldn't take goal kicks in the end....Macey came on....hope Letheren will be alright for Luton next Saturday....Macey ain't up to it personally.
Just watched the non penalty. We were denied two penalties down here and I have to say we have completed the hattrick. If you haven't seen it then have a look on Sky highlights. Looked nailed on to me and quite what that Ref saw god alone knows. At a possible 1 - 1 who is to say what would have happened. Another one of those too late now jobies so move on.
