Has anyone received confirmation of man city away tickets?, not heard anything yet despite deadline finishing last week and need to sort travel out, didn't go to Chelsea so not sure when you get notified
Just phoned them. Still being processed at the moment., but asked about mine and now being posted. Hurrah. Now to sort out the accommodation.
Received my tickets this morning for the Man City game. 'Limited Number' now on general sale according to OWS.
Surprising we've not sold out to season ticket holders. Is it cos it's on telly or a rip off, or both? Wonder how many tickets we applied for?
Both. I can't go, it costs too much and I have other priorities to think about. Prices are ****ing ridiculous now.
What is the policy with away tickets this season? With regards to how man the club take that is are there rules re allocations to take up? Just asking as one of the students union in Manchester is selling them at £20 to students and staff and have been told by them that they come from the allocation that we didn't take - been on sale since Tuesday. Located on the upper tier of the south stand I believe.
41 is borderline for me- it's only cos it's our local derby and nearest game that I will attend. CFC would have been 100 notes and you could see a polo game, drink Pimm's and rub shoulders with the county set for less. Utter ****ing madness.
We normally get offered two allocations(but sometimes three), the initial allocation is usually 1,500-1,700 and the full allocation is usually 2,500-3,000(the middle allocation is somewhere in-between, I believe we had the middle allocation of 2,250 for Chelsea). When we take the initial allocation, we can sell any amount and return any that we don't sell. For the larger allocations we have to pay for the tickets, whether we sell them or not, which is why the club always aims to sell out and doesn't risk taking an allocation unless they're certain they can sell them all.
In addtion to this, in the Football League away teams get commission on tickets they sell whereas in the PL all ticket money goes to the home side, so there's no benefit in buying a lot of away tickets unless we're sure they'll be sold.
For many it will be cheaper to go with BT sport and pay the £12 for a month and then cancel. £12 against £41 ? Time the PL got to grips with rip off match prices. The Orient game is not good either. £15 for a squad/reserves game. £10 - £5 - £1 is more than enough for the first 2 rounds of coc games. imo.
